Hi Paula. Not sure where Hartman creek is. I only know a few places in Waupaca.
What type of work do you do?
Hmm hobbies... I like scrap booking I just recently started that. Love reading and trying to be creative. I recently started going to the Art Village in Steven's point. I LOVE it. I paint ceramics there and want to try the pottery wheel. I also volunteer there as well. Did you ever hear of it? I also like to bike (not to awful far yet LoL ) and walk as well. I recently joined Adventure 212 to try and lose some weight.
Doxie's are my Favorite dog. I would love to have a houseful of them but for now 2 is good LoL we also have an Austrailian Shepard who is getting rather old ;-(
I would love to meet. This week is full for me but I am open any day next week? I can come there or you can come here whatever is ok with you? Just let me know. Talk to you soon.

Hi again! Yes, I have an almost 9 yr. old daughter that keeps me on my toes, she's my sweetie and also the reason I'm getting grey hair. LOL I currently live near Hartman Creek State Park, we rent a duplex out there.
I lost my job at the end of November and so I'm searching for a new job which is no easy task at this time. I have a lot of free time on my hands which makes me even more lonely, so, yes, I would absolutely love to meet you for coffee somewhere to chat. What are your hobbies? I like to stamp, scrapbook, crochet...well, pretty much anything crafty intrigues me so I'm always puttering with one thing or another. I like to walk and bike when the weather is nice and love animals of all shapes and sizes, leaning heavily on the feline varieties.
I noticed you have Doxies....I love them!! I used to work as a vet tech and two of my absolutely favorite pet patients were Doxies, Rufous and Poppy....ever since then I've had a soft spot for them in my heart. :) I have a 3 yr. old Golden Retriever we adopted from a family at the church we attended and two cats we adopted from the Humane Society. They are absolutely marvelous companions, aren't they?
So, anyway, if you'd like to meet for coffee sometime just let me know what your schedule is like and I can either come there...the coffee house in Amherst is still there, isn't it? OR if you would like to come this way we could meet somewhere like the Amherst Coffee House in King or Cronies downtown..I think they have the best coffee in Waupaca. If you have any any other suggestions I'm open!
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon! Have a great day, Dana!! :)

Hi Paula. We lived in a little town of Nicholson, PA which was like 30 min from Scranton. Actually God brought us to WI. As well as my husband's job at Skyward. I totally understand about the friend part. We have lived here for almost 3 yrs and I don't have any "real" friends in Amherst. I made some at our church and my work but haven't found that real "True" friend. My Husband's son lives in Waupaca actually well he would be my step son then LoL Where in Waupaca do you live? Do you have any kids? I LOVE making new friends and still in search of that one "True" friend. Especially since all my family is back home in Pennyslvania. The only family here is my Husband's family. So it's hard for me ya know. Oh well I think I rambled enough LOl
If your looking for a friend as well I'd love to hear from you or maybe go for coffee or something. Hope to hear from you soon....

Hi Dana! My name is Paula and I am originally from Rosholt, WI but have moved around the US a bit with my husband's job. I am currently living in the Waupaca area. I have family in the Erie, PA area and have visited out there years ago. What part of Pennsylvania are you from and what, pray tell, brought you to the little community of Amherst?
Even though we have lived in the Waupaca area for over 3 years I have had a hard time finding friends here, I don't know why, other than the community being so small. I have a feeling that the people that have lived here in Waupaca a while have their own set of friends and really don't have time or need, really, to expand outside that circle. I miss my friends from Shawano, WI and our other past places of residence. I have found Facebook a great place to keep in contact with them.
How long have you been in the area and have you made a few friends there yet? I hope you've met a few nice folks, for your sake, it can be lonely after a move....I remember well. :) If you'd like to make another new friend, I'd love to hear from you. Take care and keep warm, it's going to be cold this weekend!!
