Hi, my name is Lynne, and I grew up in Wisconsin Rapids, and have moved out of state. I have lived in Idaho, California, Colorado, Arizona and am currently living in Utah. Wisconsin will always be my home though! I have five children, and enjoy them so much. I teach fifth grade, and feel like a mom to 30 more kids.

i spent my first 18 yrs in wis in the same house even..then moved to iowa for a couple years and then moved down to texas (houston area) for about 4yrs and then moved back to wis. to be closer to family and have my child. So much nicer up her with the people! Just not weather wise!! I wish I was still in texas for the weather

I was born and raised in WI. I moved to GA about 3.5 years ago. I don't miss the cold but do miss the family.

Hi, I grew up in Wisconsin, I moved to AZ to live with some friends who had a house there. I met my husband within 2 months of living in Phoenix, we have been married 7 years now. We moved to NC to be closer to my Husbands family in Durham. If I could transplant Madison to Phoenix and blend them together I would never leave.

Hi, I was originally born in California and family moved to Wisconsin ,which was where both my parents were from, and then grew up in the Racine area until I was 18. I had gotten married..lol i know young..and then moved down to NC where my husband has been stationed in the Marines. He is getting out this August and we just moved back to Wisconsin. I don't really prefer it though..would rather live in Arizona where its nice and hot...I can't stand cold weather anymore LOL

yes I moved to Edwardbrug ,Michigan for a year.But it did not work for us.But we were there for the care of my late mom..But I will never move out of state again.

Born and raised in central WI, and my husband is from the Madison area, but we moved for work, first to IL (NOT Chicago), then Atlanta, and now Denver, CO. My family is still in the Stevens Point area. There is no where that will replace WI in my heart- but I don't miss the cold or the woodticks!

I'm from Wisconsin and it will always be home. I also live in Iowa with my husband and two daughters. My husband grew up around Cadott, WI and I grew up in Weyerhaeuser, WI (about an hour apart). Takes 4-5 hours to get to family. Can't wait to move back to Wisconsin!!

Nothing beats the friendliness of the Midwest, so glad to be home. After being back in Wi for 2 years now, besides the long cold months, I think we are safe to say the moving has seized. We have lived in OR, KS, MO, and IL and glad to be back, surprising to say. The 3 kids, except for 1, were not in school so it did not affect them. I do miss the adventure that comes with moving and meeting new people, but on the other hand it's great to be settled.

I was born and raised in wisconsin and in dec. of 2007 i moved to alabama to be with my husband... we got married in april of 2008...and we had my son in november of 2008. I love it here...definately beats the winter weather

I was born and raised in Door County, WI. My family currently live in Colorado! No family anywhere close to us! Miss everyone and everything about Wisconsin...except the COLD winters!

I was born, raised, married and had my first child in Wisconsin. We moved from one extreme to the other - cold to HOT - to southeast Georgia. Wisconsin will always be my home, where I'm from. I miss it dearly and cannot wait to introduce and re-introduce my kids to snow :) Go Badgers!

Hi. I lived in Wi until I was 2, then moved to Az for a short while and ended up in Texas and have been here ever since. Can't say it's my favorite place and Wisconsin will always be home to me! Every year, for as long as I can remeber, we would come home at least once a year to visit with family and reconnect. Now that I'm grown and have a family of my own, I still try to keep that up. :)

Yes, I'm not in WI at the moment. I've lived in California, Arkansas, Oklahoma and currently in Iowa. Grew up in SW corner, a little town called Potosi on the mighty Mississippi. I'm about 2 hours from the family that is left. Iowa is similar in some aspects, but not enough to the lush vegetation of the bluffs on the Mississippi! Arkansas reminded me of northern Wisconsin.
