My friend and I are both in similar situations where our husbands are not really stepping up to their role as dads and are unwilling to change or get help. On top of that, we are having financial struggles and the guys seem to think it is not them and that they shouldn't have to seek any help for it.

Please, does anyone know of any support groups or anything in calgary? I have been able to solve some of my finances via a trustee for which I have to go for credit counselling, but how is it that the problems were "ours" and yet he gets to walk away scott free?

Both of us really want to work on our marriages for our kids sakes espeically since they are all young, but both of us are also willing to walk away if things don't change...

Any help would be awesome ladies...

You may want to give Credit counseling of Alberta a call..they help families and people get out of financial dept..they may be able to help you or give you a referral on what to do...good luck! A friend of mine utilized this service 8yrs ago and it made a world of difference....:)
