Good Edmonton Pediatricians

This is the web site for College of Physicians & Surgeons. It gives you a little info about anyt Dr. in the province as well as if they are taking new patients. http://www.cpsa.ab.ca/Homepage.aspx We see Dr, Christine Kyrakides (#109A, 11910 - 111th Avenue
Edmonton, Alberta T5G 0E5, (780) 455-5437). She always has room for sick kids, but does encourage you to book checkups around 3 months in advance. We've never felt rushed and always free like she and her nurse know who we are. It would be good to choose someone who has privileges at a hospital your likely to use - obviously the Stollery, but also one closer to you.

My pediatrician is Dr. Mark Davidson. My 9 month twin girls have been seeing him since birth. I have never had to wait to get in and he is very punctual. I always book the week before (but I am flexible so that helps).



His office staff assistant is really nice as well. She remembers the girls and always asks us how things are going. Dr. Davidson is very knowledgeable and helpful. Have never felt rushed but as with all Dr's ask questions if you have specific concerns.



BTW he was rated well on www.ratemymd.com as well. That might be another source for you to find a doctor.

I know of two that I'd recommend in a heartbeat....

Either Dr. Malinowski or Dr. Szymanski Both are absolutely fantastic Dr's.

Their office is located: 10155- 120 street
Hospital: Royal Alexander Hospital
Office switchboard: 780-482-7551

Though both doctors are usually extremelly busy if your looking for excelence and spectacular doctors I'd give either of these men a 10/10 rating. I've known them since I was very little. though anyone in this office is GREAT (there's 3 pediatricians but I can't remember the 3rd guy's name)

These Doc's take the time to listen and don't overmedicate. And are ALWAYS attentive to questions... They're also usually pretty good at calling back on issues that mom/dad might call in about that may require a consult... and his office staff are helpful too...

I'm not sure if they're taking new patience. I know though that Dr. Malinowski accepted my son (probably mainly because he was my own pediatrician when I was very young and very very sick) but check it out anyways.. never hurts to try.
