Would like to meet people with children

I would just like to meet moms with babies around my daughters age. She is almost 6 months. I really want to socialize her with other babies. It would be great to get together at eachothers houses or the park when it is summer and the babies can play together. Also great for moms as well to have some adult converstaion!!!

If you go to the Lois Hole Library at 1pm on Thursdays, there's a group called Rhymes that Bind, for children birth to three years, though the facilitators there allow older siblings.  I live in Millwoods and have been out there because my sister in law attended it.  If you go to the ParentLink website, (look at the Jasper Place Family Resource Center) they can direct you to a bunch of playgroups in your area.  I've been going since last summer, and the facilitators there are great.  Alot of the moms are really outgoing as well!!  :)  I won't be going much longer because my son will start school in September, but I've really enjoyed the groups that I've attended out there!!  Good luck!  Hope that helps a bit!!

That is great info about Gold's gym. I have been looking around for a gym with childcare since I moved here in Nov. I am a stay-at-home mom with a 3 yr and 2 yr old. I am keen to find women interested in working out to help keep me going. Or just do something.

I never knew that about Gold's gym... I live right across the street from the Waterpark Entrance of the mall. I'm a stay-at-home mom. My daughter is 5 months. I never have a vehicle during the day however as my fiancee is gone from 5am to 7pm working. In the summer I will start walking though.

I was planning on putting Nadia in swimming lessons in April at the Jamie Platz YMCA.

Gold's is great I love it there. You never have to wait for a machine plus you pay 30 dollars a month for day care there and they watch your children for up to 4 hours and you dont have to be working out you can go shopping watch a movie anything,but you cant leave the mall. I was a member at the YMCA and it sucked I could never get into the day care the gym is always packed and I found the pool was really cold.But thats just my opinion.plus they have all woman side. I love it plus if you get a member ship there we could work out together. I need a work out partner it kinda sucks going by myself.

Sounds great, I am at the west end mall everyday at 9 till 10 working out at gold gym so if you like we could meet at 10 there and go from there. So let me know when you can make.

My husband was away for 3 weeks, getting his fifth class power engineering, then home for a week, then gone another week to renue all the tickets he needs for his job. That was tough!! With no family close by to help, I nearly went crazy.

OMG has it ever been a huge adjustment. I forgot about the no sleep,not being able to grab my purse and run out the door. Now its a big ordeal to do anything. My daughter Brooklynn is a huge help though,she loves to feed her, change her bum.My hubby leaves sunday for 2 weeks to Houston then back home for a week then to Van for a month. He is an Electrition and has to do training in Houston for diesel generator's so he can set them up in Van for the olypics 2010.This is the first time he will be gone that long. But I do have my own car so that makes it a little better.I would love to go for coffee or go shopping that what I do best, haha. So let me know and I could swing by and pick you up. or we could meet at a place close to you house.
