Mom and Baby Group?

hey Im looking for some moms to hang out with once and a while we just moved here and I have a 15 month old girl and Im pregnant with my second baby . so im pretty interested in meeting some mommy's .. and finding out where there are meetings .

We didn`t make it because of the darn weather. I`m hoping we can get there this thursday...it`s tough because I don`t drive and I don`t know of any busses going even remotly close to there.

I really like that idea!! How about we all plan to meet Thursday, January 6th, for the 9:30 to 11 play group? We can all meet up there and maybe talk about some other things we could do and other places we could meet! How does that sound to everyone?

we could meet at parent link for one of their play groups they have one from 930-11 for 0-18 mths and one at 130-3 for 6-18mths on thursdays

Cool! Your son was born 2 days before mine! I`ll for sure set up a meeting for early January..I was thinking maybe Jan 5th, or 6th? Or is that too early? We could wait until the next week, but I wouldn`t be able to meet on that Wednesday because we have our Roots of Empathy visit but any other day that week could work for me.

My son is going to be 5 months on the 26th of dec. Anytime is a good time to meet up and hopefully make some plans.

My son will be 5 months old at the end of this month. I`m really leaning towards setting up a meeting in early January so that everyone who is interested can meet and brainstorm some ideas of types of things we could do here in town. When`s a good time to meet? During the week? On weekends? Let me know!! Once everyone lets me know when the best time for them is, we can figure out a place to meet! I hope to hear from everyone soon!

my son is one in january. I have started going to parent link for one of the play groups they have there I wont be going again though until after Christmas, if anyone wants to meet up there let me know

I have been looking for some sort of mom and baby excercise thing and nobody in gp has anything! gp kinda sucks for baby groups, there is nothing! So if anyone is interested in getting together for a walk a musko or a playdate or whatever message me or add me:) My son is 5 months old.

I have a 3 yr old boy named Parker and a 9 1/2 mth son named Nixon. We do the indoor play ground quite often, Parker needs to run around and play he is very active.

I did with my 1st son, but its really hard now having the 2 and getting to things like that. My 1st also started preschool so we havent been to the parent link since before xmas.

as candy said theres parent link , babies best start does some as well :) i have yet to get into any of the programs but i did go to parent link for a tour and it seems awsome.. i do playdates with some girls from work but would love to meet more gp moms :) i think starting a group is a fantastic idea, how old is everyones babies ? my son is 5 months old :)

Hi Tricia, there are some groups. The parent link centre here has some, they have a strollersize class at the leisure centre for mom and baby.
