Hard to say, my daughter is on the thin side, but she doesn't eat much for lunch. I try to take her off the meds, or give her a half dosage in the summer so she has time to grow.

my 9 yr old has just started taking concerta about 2 mths ago and 1 month ago when they weighed him he had lost a kg and hadnt grown any. he cant afford to loss weigh as he was already under weight. i dont know what the drs are going to do.i guess it will be a wait and see if he adjjust to the meds or go back to the ritilin 10
although the concerta makes him so more controlable but i guess i will have to wait and see
what were they checkin with the blood test

Some ADHD medications have a rare side effect of stunted growth, but also he might just be on the small side. My 9 yr old is also small but I was also small at that age. How big were you and his daddy at that age , or even grandparents ? genetics might have something to do with it
