I have a 7yr old that has all those sign and has been takeing medication for all of it we have tryed several diff kinds of ADHD med's and no lucky we are on 5 diff med's some we take twice a day and some 3 times a day we have meltdowns and can not focus in school so I had to put him in a school for kids with behavior issue.We are two years behinde mental and we are in a routie which is helpful but all doc say is it is because he was a perm baby born at 24 weeks he weight 1 pound 16oz we have issue with potty trainning (poop that is ) and he talk all the time and he can't sit still and when he get he's mind on something he go's on and on we have nighttear's sometimes afaird of washing are hair don't like water in are face and we don't sleep a lot we have just start too think thier is something in are eye and it turns into a total melt down I raise him on my own and I have no help or time too my self what is a mother too do I'm running out of patience and overwhelm any one have some answer....

Omg I feel for you! I have a child with sever cerebral palsy and twins with ADHD.
The best advice I can give you is to step back from the situation and try to look at it as if you are the third party. I know the medication roller coaster can be very frustrating but eventually you will fine the right medication. The thing that always gets me threw a ruff spot is I always try to talk about the situation and I try to find humor in my situation. If I can't I just cry about it. The good news for me is that eventually we became use to crazy unbelievable situations being the normal. I know longer point out the bad behavior or situation I only comment on the good stuff.
I know that sounds corny but we just have to love our kids threw it.

I have a 14yr old boy same issues except he is very bright when it comes to academics. He started telling me his adhd meds make him feel weird so we stopped them things only get worse. No one seems to be able to dx him properly. he did a autism test through the school they said he didn't have for their test. If you get a good response that makes sense please pass it on to me. I will be hoping for the best.
