Anxiety issues with Ritalin?

Have any of you had trouble with severe freaking out type anxiety issues and Ritalin? or is there another cause.....

My son was on Ritalin for a llittle over 2 years and his anxiety level was so much he started pulling his hair out by the roots. his doctor has since pulled him off of it and he is now on Vyvanse. Our doctor said that sometimes after long periods of time on the medicine that can become a side effect. Hope this helps!
