hi im new and wanted to know what could i give my son who is on vyanse and inutiv hes not eatin well

Thanks alice I will defiantly try out the shakes and start vitamins , he's been really back and fourth with eating and now breakfast which was his favorite has become a struggle! I think he know that this a way out and I'm so worried when he doesn't eat . I've super stressed ever since his diagnosis with ADHD

Make sure he eats as much as he will before you give him his meds. A good healthy breakfast. eggs, fruits, protein drinks. Have snacks he likes after school, small amounts but make them available to him often. He may only eat a hand full at a time. Don't make a big deal about the food. If he realizes not eating gives him power he may start to use it against you and eat to get his way. Fix him a protein shake/malt before bed. Make sure he takes good vitamins. http://www.tyh.us/index.php/liquid-vitam... These help with mood stability and I have found even though I usually have very little appetite that I am actually hungry during the day. My son who is also on ADD med's told me that he is hungry all the time now since he started taking them. When the body begins getting the nutrition it needs it will begin to learn what it needs and you begin to get signals that it needs nutrition. I swear my son has grown an inch this week. We just started on the vitamins the beginning of this week. My depression is better, moods have improved. I can tell my children and husband feel better and they actually are looking for things to eat.

Hi camy well we've been having this issue ever since he's started taking the meds but it's on and off now and he's been on the inutiv for a month and I really don't notice a change in his behavior ?? Which is weird he's on 1mg

My son, 7.5, is on initiv and he does not have a problem with eating AT ALL. In fact, that is something we are working on.
