I noticed this on another board on this site. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in being mom penpals and also having our kids be penpals. I am a 30 year old working mom. I have one child, a 9 year old 4th grade son. I am looking into natural supplements/diet regulation and behavior modification. I do not want to put my son on meds. We live in North Dakota and it is hard to find good counselors and support for holistic approaches here. I would like to have a penpal to save my sanity. I would also like my son to have a penpal similar in age, because it is hard to make friends when most of the other kids think you are too intense and too hyper. And I am sure he would appreciate someone who is having the same problems he is.

I would love to be a penpal with you. My 13 yr old sn has ADHD and OCD. He is failing school now. Reluctantly tried meds, but they had horrible side effects. We just started seeing a therapist. I don't now where to turn.
