New to the circle of moms of kids with ADHD

Hello,



I have a 10 year old son with ADHD. There are days that I struggle with him getting through the day. He seems to have my energy and can bounce like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. We love him so very much and have tried to keep him focused. He seems to live without an important filter that causes him to loose control. Anyway, I am hoping to join a circle of moms that can relate and understand what its like to live with ADHD kids. Gotta love them!

My son is almost 12 and I am still having to struggle with this. I try to help him stay focussed but it can be very tiresome. I choose not to put my son on any drugs and try to control it with diet and patience. Chin up we do what we must do for the ones we love. If I come accross a good method I will be more than happy to pass it on. So far sitting down and talking or raking a 5 minute break helps.
