....... wondering if they work? my son has suspected ADHD and ASD he has never sat still at a table and is easily distracted, i was reading about the weighted lap pads but rather than i buy i decided to do a test i borrowed my mums microwavable slippers wich are quite heavy and put them on his lap at dinner time at the table. OH my goodness what a difference!!!! sat atil eating for 20 mins!!!!!!!

My son's daycare teacher made lap pads for a few students. It was the only time she could get my son to sit still during story or circle time. He would even ask for them when he felt he needed them.
