My 4 yr old just started taking Intuniv. I'm not sure when the best time of day is to give this to her. I don't want her to be drowsy at school.

Hi,

I currently give my son his Intuniv in the morning, but he always gets in trouble in the mornings at school, but then is great in the afternoons (both at school and at home). I'm wondering if I should give it to him at night so maybe he will have better mornings (both at home and at school)?

Currently, he is a BIG grump when I wake him up!

Thanks,

Amy

Tabitha,

I think it depends on when they told you to give it to her. I give my son his in the morning and he seems to do fine with it. You could always ask them. I know that somepeople give it to there child at night, but it depends on what the doc says.
