Has anyone tried Adderall for their child's ADHD? My 8yr old is on Concerta. The ex thinks he should get the meds changed. Because of a co-worker. I'm not liking the side effects and the twice a day dose. What has been your experiance with Adderall?

My son was on adderall for a couple months but I didn't like the side effects. They were almost as bad as the ritilin. It turns out my son can't be on stimulants though. My son was also on the Concerta at one point but I don't remember why we took him off. It either didn't work or had bad side effects. My favorite med that my son has been on was the last ones till they quit working. Guanfacine and Strattera. We are hoping on trying him on Meclizine next. Suppose to be great with little to no side effects.
