I LOVE a hot shower or a hot bath when I can stand it. My body does not take to massages ( It helps for a couple of hours but then I am worse than before). I have not found anything that works for long periods of time, but my body responds well to heat. I have noticed, as Audrey said, that eating well does help along with light exercises/stretching. Nothing for me lasts for any long period of time, but I have noticed that if I pace myself, eat good, and use heat I don't have to use as many meds as I would otherwise have to do. Hope this helps!!

I agree massage and hot showers/baths do only help for a while...I haven't found anything yet that keeps the pain away for any period of time...

A good massage is always helpful to me, although I don't get them often enough. I've noticed when I eat well, fruits and vegetables and good whole foods that it helps me to feel better. I've also heard a lot of people saying that excercise and stretching helps them as well.
