Hi I'm new to the community. I have 2 yr old son and a 6wk old son. Looking to meet other moms who love lil boys. Kinda tired of being asked when are we trying for the girl!

I have two beautiful boys, one 16 and one 4. My husband and I just decided to try for another baby and of course EVERYONE is hoping it is a girl. I just want a healthy baby myself.

I am a mom of 3 boys. 10yrs, 5yrs, and 7mths. I love them, and I do want a girl, but I have figured that I am done and I will just have daughter in laws. When people ask me (and they still do) if I am gonna try for a girl, I say nope, I am happy with my sons and if I did try, I would probably have twin boys, lol. Good luck and sont stress too much what other people think or say. :)

My son is just about to turn 1, we have a second son due in July! I am asked that all the time as well and I tell people that after this baby we are done having children and they sorta scoul at that. I love the fact that I will have my 2 boys and I don't see why people think that there has to be at least one of each to make a family complete. I will have my own personal wrestling team and I am fine with that. I am sure that there are certain things that I will miss out on by not having a daughter but my boys are worth the things I will miss out on.

I have 4 boys and I love it, with my last one everybody including my oldest whanted a baby girl and a some point I do to but when I find out that my 4th was another boy I feel oh boy this gona be fun, but my housband cry he realy wants a little princes. Im happy with my boys im so proud of them they are amazing and yes people sometime annoys me with that "you still looking for a girl ???" bc I will love to have one girl but life give me this wonderful sons 9, 7, 4 and 2 months old and I couldn't be more happier they are smart, responsable, they love eachother . people sometimes when I say Im a mother of 4 boys they react like If I say something bad " oh poor woman you must be so busy and stressful with all those tetosterone running around the house" and here I am in my computer relax my baby sleeping, my oldest playing cards and my 4 years old reading a book.

Me too! People think just because I have two boys I should have a third so I can have a girl! I LOVE my boys (4 years and 6 months) and wouldn't change a thing. I feel my life is complete and am just happy I have two happy healthy children!

Sorry you get that question it is thoughtless and sometimes hurtful. As a mother of an adoptive son (7yrs) and a newborn son I know when I became pregnant that everyone wa praying I would get my little girl. When I got pregnant I knew I was having a boy and by the sonogram everyone had me convinced that I was having a girl. When the sonogram showed the boys parts I was so happy but I was the only one. Stay strong ladies boys are awesome I am actually looking for any poems about little poems.

No, what annoys me is that my husband has a stupid dog who happens to be female and everyone says she's my little girl. VOMIT! No, she is a dog, not my child, thank you! I have three BOYS, no girls.

Hi, I get that question all the time. I have three boys ages 8, 6, and 18 months. I guess they think that what is best to complete our family is a girl. Not so. I couldn't be more happy with these guys. It takes a special mom to have all boys :)

I have 3 boys and love 'em to bits! I like the response that someone left that we were meant to raise good men - I will have to use that next time! I recently had my 3rd boy and I got tired of people saying "you must be so disappointed not to have a girl". Who would be "disappointed" with a healthy baby? Some people need a filter before speaking!!

Oh wow and I thought I was the only one that got pestered or asked about whether I wanted a girl. I have 12 year ol and 9 year old boys - and love them so much. ANd yes exactly the same feeling that God gives us what we can handle and I truelly believe I was meant to raise boys.

I was in the hospital after just delivering my second boy and some thoughtless relative mentioned that next time we would probably get the girl!! I told them that we had another baby because we wanted another family member, not because we were trying for a girl. We would have been delighted either way! It does go both ways, my girlfriend has two little girls and is expecting again and everyone is going on about it "hopefully" being a boy this time around...

My family is always telling me, "you have to have another. so, you can get a girl!" I tell them I don't want anymore. And lord knows if I did have another it'd be a boy! It's just my luck.

I get the same question. My answer is I have three happy healthy boys. What's wrong with that?!
I got what I wanted with all three, but specially the youngest. By then my older two had been in the NICU for various reasons. All I asked for with the little one was that he'd be healthy and go home with me. I got what I asked for. Gender doesn't matter. Now, I am so happy with my boys. Wouldn't trade them for the world

I too, get asked if I wished I had a girl. No I am done. Ugh I feel like people are telling me not to be happy with boys. I love my boys. I have a 9yr old & 7 yr old. I adore my sons & wouldnt have it any other way. The mud, the bugs, the energy. I love it all. They are 21 months apart in age & are close ( of course they have their days where they want to be apart) They never get bored or lonely. So just try to ignore when people say you should try for a girl. I just smile and say "no, I am blessed with my sons, and if I were to "TRY" for a girl I could end up with 10 boys, so I am fine with my life & my boys" gets them speechless quickly LOL

I have three boys and I too am always asked if I will try again. Like if we did something wrong the first three times LOL I am not quite the princess of my house or the queen more like the soccer Mom and when people ask me that dreaded question I tell them "This world needs more good men and I guess it is my job to raise some"

I get that question a lot too. I have 5 awesome boys and am expecting boy #6 in October. While I would LOVE to have a daughter, I think I am just meant to be a boys mom. I actually hate the question because if I could've had a girl, I would....just one! Not that I'd be willing to trade even one of my boys for a girl.....I would just love to have a daughter too.

i get the same question all the time and I usually say If God wanted me to have a girl he would have given me one already. I happy with my boy's and love being the "queen or princess" in their world.

Well, just wait.....it gets worse. I am the mom of 4 beautiful boys. Everyone asks me if we are going to try for a girl. My response is always the same..."God knows that I was meant to be a mom of boys, and he never makes mistakes". I will never "try" to have a girl, but we are probably going to have more kids. I will take a girl if given one, but boys are just the absolute greatest, and I wouldn't trade one of them..... Plus, not only am I a Queen in my house, I also get to be a princess every once in a while :)

First of all, I had that question too. It's a normal question, and goes the other way, people with girls get asked when they are having a boy. Second, try MOMSclub.org as a great way to meet other moms with boys, or girls, or both, but it will get you a support group where you are. Or it might have links to something nearby.
Good luck, and don't sweat the question. Just do as I do and say nope, we are a boy house!
