my daughter has coeliacs disease and at 1st it was so hard to do shopping as were on a budget but we fond buying fruit veg and fresh fish and meat is great you cant go wrong, also asda and tesco have a great free from range of food where you can get cereals and breads and pastas.

We were just diagnosed about 9 months ago, and we're having to learn to cook all over again. I've found that there are lots of places online where you can buy gluten free substitutes for things like bread crumbs, etc. Eating out is the hardest thing, but many restaurants are starting to get with the program and have gluten free menus. This web site is a good resource: http://www.celiac.com/. They have a whole set of forums for Celiacs.
