Hi I am new to this site and my 23 month old is allergic to all nuts and my 8 month old i believe might have celiac desease - however i am hoping it is just an allergy to oats he is on a gluten free diet now - and i took him to get blood work done friday to see if its celiac. does anyone else have children with celiac desease?

I had the same problem. Try some of my recipes. Will be good. My kids have food allergies. I have a blog with recipes for kids with food allergy, and some craft for them.

Hi - I have an almost 9mo. old. Just wondering what made you suspect Celiac in your 8mo. old. I'm having trouble giving my son wheat and I've really been wondering if he's got Celiac - mostly because I can't find any other reason for his reaction. Since he doesn't need wheat at the moment, I'm just leaving it and anything else with gluten out of his diet until we're in to see the doc again. The major thing that happens with my son is that he projectile vomits after having oatmeal or is very distressed and seems to be uncomfortable. He's fine if he doesn't have it, so I didn't make a special appointment to have him checked out (yet).
