They are KAFO braces (knee ankle foot orthodics). At 8 months old (he's 9.5 mos now) he start to only have to wear them at night. He does great with them!!

whats the name of those braces? just asking cause my son is now 2 years old and running all over the place and he still needs to wear them at night problem is he is so used to not wearing them 24\7 that when it comes to bed time he will not ear then cause of the bar....ive had the dobbs bar and that worked when he has to wear them all the time... im gonna order that again but at the same time i like the look of the ones your child is wearing!!

He will wear them until he is about a year...until he is walking and then the walking will stabilize his feet. We get to take them off 3 times a day, which he LOVES! and we have to do foot stretches.
