my month old her hair is straight which is a shock because i have curly hair and so does her father who is mixed black and puertorican his hair is cours curly not exactly black people hair but in between i think babies with curly hair are soo adorable:) i love my baby she is super beautiful and thank god every day that she is healthy and happy. its just a shock to me and wonder if this ever happend to anyone
also have people saying that shes not his baby due to her skin color && hair which is annoying.
b/c he is not fully black and i am white/hispanic.

There hair changes a lot over time. My DD was born with straight black hair. And now she's almost 3 years old and it's a medium brown with a curl/wavey but it is still thin.. Me and SO both have curly hair and thick. He is full mexican and I am american..

My son hair was straight when he was born, and curled when it was wet; at the age of about 4 ½ 5months it was curly all the time. Do defiantly give it time, I bet her hair will be curly :-0)

She's only a month old so give it sometime. Most babies start off with straight hair and then it'll eventually curl up. My hair is curly and my husband's hair is straight and so far my son's hair is still straight and he's 8 months. My nephew who is also biracial had straight hair until he was about nine or ten months, it's been curly since and he's two now.
