My daughter is black & mexican and when were out i always get second takes, i guess ppl are wondering whose child i have because she looks nothing like me.

I am currently pregant with our first child. My husband is Mexican and I am black and I'm so curious to see what our kids are goign to look like. My husbad has dark feeatures as far as his hair color and eye color go and were abotu the same color even though we're two different nationalities... We get second looks now so I wonder how it will be with a kid in the mix.

I'm actually pregnant now and I don't know the sex of the child yet but it will be Black,Mexican and Puerto Rican. I'm so excited!!

Hi Janae Yes I know exactly what you mean. I get the awww shes cute look but te side eye like why do you have her. I thinkmy daughter looks a lil like me but a lot more like daddy.

My daughter is not exacetly the same culture of your daughter but she is Black Cape Verdean and Puerto Rican and she has always gotten looks since she was born. it does not help that she is extremely fair and I myself questioned if she was mine when she was born if I had not has seen them immediately place my bracelet on her as well. My daoughter does look just like me but she is much much fairer. I have learned to deal with it as well as prepare my children to deal with it. Great character, esteem building and even slight humor can carry our children a long way. it seems now that people are really getting used to it and/ or more acceptig. Smile and be encouraged.

I DO AND SHE IS 2 MONTHS, BEAUTIFUL MY BOYFRIEND IS MEXICAN AND WHITE AND I;M BLACK IM 5'9 AND HE IS 5'9, SHE CAME OUT AT 21 INCHES SHE LOOK JUST LIKE HER DAD NOT ME I HATE THAT CAUSE I CARRIED HER WHERE AM I IN THE MIX SHE GOT MY EYES AND EYEBROWS N EARS.

I'm white, but my family gets the same looks because I happened to marry a white guy instead of my son's bio father. We've actually been asked what happened to the bio mother because my son happens to look more like my husband than me!

I guess thats the way I should look at it when my family is out and we get second looks.My two sons look just like their daddy who is black. I think people only think they belong to me too cause they are a little lighter than daddy.

yes I do. I have a girl and a boy. I get the looks with my daughter because she looks more mexican but my son looks more black
