My son was born with jet black hair. Now that he is 9 months old, his hair is light brown (with red highlights). I'm wondering whether my son's hair will continue to lighten up. His father had blond hair as a baby. My husband's hair color darkened as he got older. Is it possible that his hair will become blond?

My son was born with jet black hair and it is lightening to sandy blonde. His father is filipino with black hair though so I'm a little surprised. My mom had sandy hair as a child that darkened But I always had dark brown hair. Right now he has three different hair colors lol.

My son was born with jet black hair also and now it is brown with red highlights in it. I have a friend that had a son that his hair turned blond, her hair was blond and of course his dad had jet black hair. Its really hard to say what color of hair your son will end up with.

my son was born with jet black hair and it lightened up to a medium brown. I would say most kids hair doesn't change after a year old

I can't help you, sorry. Both my kids were born with jet black hair and it is still jet black. I love the look of brown hair, but everyone seems to love my daughters jet black curly hair.
