my boys are half Indian and mexican. so am i worried about them being picked on in school i wuz always beeing critisized cause i was a mixed kid.they r so mean these days when i would be coming dwn the hall at school i could hear the kids saying there is that mexican looken for wrk.it hurt but igot over it what shuld i do 4 my boy if he ever comes home crying 4 that same reason?

Hi my name is janae. And my youngest daughter is half mexican. Shes only one so she haasn't encountered the same problem as you, But you just gotta be strong, and think positive. His Ethinicity will make him shine, he will be the pretty boy in school. So don't worry. How you raise him, will give him a thick skin.

my two boys are half mexican but aren't in school yet. i went through the reacism thing when my two step-kids lived with me (both half white/mexican). my step-son had a lot of problems from kids teasing him. i talked to the principal and he talked with all teachers about listening to children if they have problems but that was all. and from then on i decided as a mother that i will not let my child go through that. so i have decided that when my two start school that i will put them in a school that is either more hispanic or where all races are more evenly. i know that i can never keep him from those that are going to teast him but as a mother i can do my best to reduce it. and i believe the it would be better by putting him in a school where there are more hispanics rather than putting him in a school that has mainly whites or blacks.

I have 2 boys who are mexican and white no one makes fun of them. My younger son is 6 and kids in his class at school ask if he is mexicanhe just says yup and my mommy is white and walks away.

I'm worried about this, too. I'll probably just have my son tell me the kid's name(s) and personally talk to the school and the kid's parents if possible. Thankfully, I've got a few years... unfortunately, that's the only thing I could think of.

girl u have nothing to worry about in this year a least 99 percent of todays kids are mixed so they want get made fun of
