I wash my childrens hair around 3 times a week. BUT, I put Johnsons leave in conditoner/detangle in it everyday. I will use a conditoning sheen on my oldest if the weather is real humid. When you wash his hair use an adult coditioner and do not rinse it all the way out. This gives beautiful shiny curls to the driest hair. =)

I wash my daughters hair depending on how dirty it is @ a minimum of twice a week and I ALWAYS moisturize. It is really helping her hair grow on the sides and in the back. She has really dry hair just like me, but her actual hair grade is her dad's. I am a mixed woman too so my baby is only 1/4 black and so her hair is more like a white person's hair.

1-2 times a week for my two. One is 3/4ths white, the other is 1/2 white, 1/4th ashkenazi jewish, and 1/4th black. I'm half and half and wash mine rarely. Maybe once every two weeks. Once a week is a lot for my hair. More than two weeks is too long.

maybe twice a week, because our kids are mixed you have to really look at the chemistry of their hair but when you wash it make sure to oil it really well after bath and use a spray on moisturizer on days it isnt washed since ends tend to get dry

2-3 times a week, too much washing can damage the skin, the skin could get flaky and dry. I put conditioner on the ends of her hair though, making sure not to touch the scalp. My daughter is half black and half flip, so her hair is really nappy

I try to give my daughter a shower every other day (especially during the summer months) and every two days during the winter. Her showers are never longer than ten minutes because of her eczema so shampooing happens on shower day.

It truly depends on the chemistry in their heads. My daughter's hair is pretty dry so I can wash hers twice weekly. My youngest son's hair gets oily often, so I wash it everyday in warm seasons and every other day in cool seasons.
