I didn't know biracial kids looked like their lighter parent?

well my son is I'm guessing half or part african american. And it's obvious that he is imo since he was born. However his every feature looks like my baby pictures. I didn't kow that could be since he was biracial. I always heard that bi-racial kids usually take after their darker parent. Not that it matters. It's just cool to see myself in my son of another race. Idk if this sounds weird but that's how I feel...

There's simply no telling. I figured being a super pale, blue-eyed girl, and my ex being very very dark with dark hair and dark eyes that my daughter would be dark. Instead, she's got my blue eyes, light brown curls, and gorgeous olive-toned skin only a couple shades darker than me. It's a mixed bag with mixed babies. ♥

I am the dark one in my bi-racial relationship...LOL...my husband is as white as the come.,Italian- with blue eyes, so I bet our kids would be dark like me, NOPE :) they are all just as white as there daddy, funny when people see me with them, they all tower at least a foot over me & I am three shades darker then them-but they all have my face...HUH!! They may have daddy's color but I can honestly say they get there good looks from me !!!

i have 3 half black and half white boys. my oldest has very dark skin tone with green eyes and dirty blonde/brown hair. my two youngest kids are totally opposite they are very light skin like myself but they have the brown eyes and the black hair.

YEah what you heard is a myth...they can come out looking any kind of way, light, dark,...ect there are no rules when it comes to Bi-racial kids

there is no rule for who they will look like, it just depends. my son is half black and half white and he has lighter skin and hair but his facial features are exactly like his dad's.
