For the longest I wanted to get Mixed Chicks hair product for my biracial toddler... Finally here in Germany I found the product at our Military exchange. So I bought it.... Not knowing that there was a specific one meant for kids...

Tonight I washed, conditioned, andputt the leave in conditioner with the adult line of Mixed Chicks... Now I've gone on their website and realized there was one for children...

Do you think I may have ruined her hair?! I keep imagining waking up to a bald toddler...lol. Not funny.. But seriously concerned! :O

To mention she is only 19 months old... :/
I know it's a bad idea to put products in such a young age... But her hair seemed to be very frizzy.. And wanted to restore it's beauty.

Love the product. Has worked wonders on my sons hair. Also, 'kinky curly & curls' are amazing products for biracial children & adults. :]

I had a similar experience with Mixed chicks, after much research I was excited to try the product and bought the Leave-in-conditioner. It wasn't the "Kids" formula though and dried my daughter's hair out really bad.
I bought the Kids Quad and I have to say they are the BEST products for toddlers with curly hair, my daughters curls are so beautiful and soft.

I highly recommend the "Kids" formula for toddlers

Hi Katie. I started using the mixed chicks adult formula on my daughter's hair because it is so thick. I tried the kids version afterward and did not like the results as much. I have been using mixed chicks in her hair since she was 12 months and never had an issue with hair loss.

I think there is a picture on my profile of her at her second birthday after using mixed chicks in her hair. It turned out beautiful.

I use it on my son's hair.
I would say ditch the shampoo. Shampoo contain harsh, drying sulfates that are not good for curly/frizzy hair. it strips out the natural moisture which most black/mixed hair needs.

I'm sure she was fine! Nutess Hair products has products that are made for all hair type and all ages. So you can use them and the kids can too, with no worries.

Yea, I figured it out. Lol. Thank you though. :)
I was afraid it might be too stoing and destroy it. But it turns out her hair is doing VERY well with it.

It's a miracle in a bottle. I can style it anyway I want. :D

hahahaha your cute!!! dont worry!!! even though it would be better for your child to have the one for kids the one for adults should cause any damage to her hair... relax :)
