Moms with tattoos...?

I have 8 tattoos, and I don't think I've ever noticed people looking or judging. But then again, most of them are down my back, so the only one really visible is my sons name and his zodiac sign written in Chinese.
The only tattoos I look at and think WTF are facial and neck tattoos.

I have 10 tattoos plus a half sleeve and I am not done there. What I like to do is when my son (18 months) and I are going out to let's say the mall or crowded places, I will get little kiddie tattoos and sleeve him up! and he walks around all proud in his little muscle shirt because he is proud of his Mama...

People HATE that I do that and think I am sending the wrong message and they rant all in my face and I all I say is, TO EACH HIS OWN. My son knows that it is artwork, presentable artwork and he asks me questions about my tattoos all the time.

I do have my rules though, he has to be 18 before he gets his first. People can think what they want. I know who I am and what I am about and I am proud to wear my ink while holding my son's hand!

I have 2 tats one on my wrist of a butterfly and a large one on my lower back of my 2 girls name not had a problems really.... although i have had a few stares from the partners family due to his familys strict religion but hey ho i just dont take any notice ;)

i have 6 and i dont regret any of them. people have never said anything negative 2 me about my tattoos, but even if they had I wouldnt pay them any mind cause its my body and they are not harming my child at all. i have a huge tattoo on my lower leg that is a rose and skin ripper with my sons name in it. it is a symbol of my love and devotion to my son and anybody that doesnt like it can eat me! lol

Ohhh strangers and their reactions... I have two and I haven't noticed anyone really staring or anything, but like someone else who posted I do have piercings and man have people given me flack about them at one time! Nose, tongue, ears galore... (at one point nipples but no one but my boy saw those lol!) I find people dont give me looks about them so much anymore because they're too preoccupied looking at my son and myself and trying to figure that out!

LOL...I have 6 tattoos and I get looks sometimes when my husband and I are out with our daughter, (he has tattoos, too)...Just ignore people...They don't know what kind of mom you are...having tattoos doesn't change how much we love our kids!

yes peopl look at me crazy i have the word Blackfoot on my upper arm witch is my native american tribe and mostly old people give me looks but i just look the other way because the are close minded and just dont get it

People are ignorant and always more than ready to judge I have 3 tats although I never notice any looks I'm sure I get them lol There's nothing wrong with them they're a beautiful form of self expression.

I have the chinese symbol for mother behind my right ear and people look at me like "how responsible" i simply smile and give em a better profile of it..bc to me its the coolest thing ever. It's not about the type of parent people see you as, its about the type of parent you are. so screw em lolo

i have 4 tattoo's, not all of them are covered. I've got my daughters name on my wrist and shooting stars on the back of my neck..when people say something about mine, i just tell them i'm grown and what i do is my business. I also have my lip pierced..imagine what i hear about that lol

i have never gotten dirty looks from strangers but i do get alot of comments from my family, they are all against tattoos...but i say do what makes you happy and forget everyone elses comments and looks

I know what u mean.. i have 3, and the other day i was wearing a summer dress and the bottom of my tattoo on my thigh was sticking out of my dress. Its funny because people see a tattoo and look at you disgusted!! WHY we will never know. I absoloutely love tattoos, all 3 of mine have meaning and i couldnt care less what small minded people think. Its mad, Like i have a tattoo, so what. it dosent affect me, dosent affect my baby and sure as hell dosent affect the people that stare!!! dont mind them!! just get more lol

LOL! I get looks sometimes about the one back tattoo I got while in the Army. It is really fun explaining how I drew it and took it to a stoner to complete, though. My employer is super conservative, so most of my spine is covered at all times, but every once in a while people will get a peek at it and ask a question. It was all in fun, which is what tattoos should be all about. Right?

I love the looks on people's faces when I dress in a girly maternity dress with my big prego belly sticking out... then they see the back of my leg and their jaw drops a bit when they see the huge tribal dragon!
