my 23 month old girl is learning how to say bad words, how can i go by stopin her to say bad words

well im a working mom an daddy takes care of my lil 1 who seem to b picking up profanity words she hear frm daddys mouth or his friends????

1st: get daddy to watch his mouth. 2nd: use whatever type of discipline you prefer.

no joke, my very 1st word was shit & a relative of mine when she was 2 all she would say was the "f" word. you just need to make sure you are the boss & that is not ok for her to say but don't contradict yourself by saying "sassy" words or allowing daddy to say "sassy" words............maybe start a curse jar where every time someone swears they put in a specific $ amount (ex: 50cents to $1). you could use the money towards a family vacation or start a c.d./savings in her name

If she uses one of those words, don't overreact, that will get her doing it more just for the reaction. Just explain to her that good girls don't use those words and that those are not nice words. Tell adults who care for her to watch their language when in her presence.

My oldest cussed like a sailor about 4.his phsyiciatrist told me to ignore it as much as possible.Overreacting teaches ooh i get a reaction.He got better the less I reacted .

unless you are ok with your child cursing then i would talk to dad and make sure he is aware of his cursing is doing and find away for him to stop saying thos words in the presents of the kids and let the child know its not ok to say those words.
