It sounds like cradle cap... what i use for my son is Head&Shoulders and bab oil and use a comb and brush is in different motions and then wash your babies hair with the Head&Shoulders

My son had eczema as a baby. The ped dermatologist recommended an oil called "Moisture Riser". It's not by prescription and you order it on-line. It's high-grade refined peanut oil w/the allergens removed so you don't have to worry about allergy to the peanut content. It works REALLY well. Best to rub in a little when the skin is slightly damp and it seals in the moisture while being breathable. There's no odor too which is great. The bottle lasts forever. Don't be frugal w/the application, the skin should "glisten" according to the derm. lol. http://www.hillderm.com/productcart/pc/v...

As a nurse I am going to recommend that you use cradle cap care ointment. cradle cap is a crusty scale like skin that forms on the top and the "swirl"of the infants head. Don't worry about it, its not seriouse and it will go away on it's own. If the dryness and flakes persist after a 6-8 months of age aske her Dr. who can recommend a Rx

Sounds like cradle cap. I used olive oil...only a dime drop (message it through her scalp after washing her hair). I keep sounding like a broken record with the olive oil push.

My son has very dry scalp also, you should try using less shampoo when you bathe her and when your washing her scalp try using a small washcloth and rubbing her scalp lightly in circular motions so that it would help loosen the dry skin. Hope that was helpful, goodluck!

try "just for me" hair products they can be found in the ethnic hair aisle in most walmarts or targets. not too expensive either. it could be the shampoo you use i switched to an all natural shampoo i get it at The Body Shop you can find locations online at thebodyshop.com or order it from there. try one at a time to see which helps the most
