my son is half black quarter mexican and white. his hair is super curly, like little ringlets. i have managed to keep it under ok control but its getting nappy. i want to grow it out longer but would like some advice on ways to style his hair in the meantime without him looking like a girl. please help!!!lol

I like my son's hair just natural looking. He also has tight ringlets. I only wash his hair every other day and I condition it. After bath I put Just 4 me Hair milk styling lotion in his hair it seems to keep his hair from getting frizzy and wild. I sometimes have to wet his hair and put it in after he sleeps since he flips around a lot in his sleep. How old is your son? You could take him and get his hair braided as well. Other than a short hair cut, natural look, or braids I don't know what else to do with a boys hair.

Our son has huge loose curls. He was born with a massive amount of hair that he's yet to lose.... it's amazing. But his curls got so eventually we had to trim them down despite the whole "no haircut before a year" rule. I'm interested to see what response you'll get... because I'd love to know as well.
