Has you ever been somewhere and people see your kids and comment "AWWW whos kids are those?" or "AWWW are you babysitting?" It drives me crazy!

I live in a large TOWN in Texas right outside of Houston and I have been asked all kinds of questions..."are they yours?", "are they adopted?","are you foster mom?", and the rudest question ever asked "are they all by the same guy?" I swear this was a man who came into my place of business every once in a while and really did not know me. I have had children at my kid's school say "are you really Avari's mom?" and "isn't your kids supposed to be white?" The kids questions don't bother me but there are some very rude people out there.

I have gotten this a lot over the years. When my children were little, I had one woman who kept persisting...are you babysitting?...is she adopted?...etc. I finally just looked at her and said, "THIS CHILD CAME OUT OF MY VAGINA!" That shut her up.

That hasn't happened to me YET lol but yesterday I went to a buffet lunch with some friends and the parents of my friends boyfriend were there. The mother saw me walk in with my 3 month old baby in my pram. Later on, when he was awake, my friend got him out and was nursing/playing with him and the Mother states *whose baby is that??* ... I was the only person at that table that wasn't related to this woman!

UM HELLO!! lol ... some people are just too stupid.

sure have... and have also got "are all those YOUR kids?" I have 4 kids coz some are bi-racial and some are not. It used to bother me but then I started making sarcastic comments back, like "yeah they sure are... I adopted the two white ones." that really took them by surprise and usually shut them up... but I would feel bad for coming down to their level. When I got to the point where I could just smile and say "yep! they are all mine! I'm SO BLESSED!" with a sincere smile and no hurt in my heart from their ignorance, is when people stopped asking.

I have been reading similar posts in this community for many months thinking "what back wood hick town do you people live in?" but last Friday I was in Target and the cashier, a young black gal, said "wow, she's so light, is she yours?" That is the first time I've experienced such ignorance and rudeness, but I just said yes.

No but i have had people say once they see my kids " You have mixed kids?" All i can think is DUH you see them. And then the same people who ask that stupid question say to me. " I didnt know you dated black guys. You dont seem like the type" All I can think is The Type???? Is there a "type". I am me and that is all i am. Do i have to be a "type" in order to date someone outside my race or can I just be me? It drives me crazy!!!

When my daughter was a baby, a lady asked me if she was mine. I almost dropped my pants to show her the scar from the C-Section, LOL!!
