Been trying to get my 8mths to take bottle but refuses everytime!!! Tried the sippy cup and hates that too. Tried express and giving to him in the bottle and that doesn't work. He is going to childcare in Dec.....HELP!!!

I've heard breastfeeding moms have had good luck with avent bottles.. but I dont know from my own experience.. I do use them, just never breastfed... love them as bottles though!

Megan, I'm trying the tommee tippee now, he plays with it and sometime sucks it but is not interested... and Debbie, i might have to try the pedi-sure and look out for those bottles..
Would changing formula help??? trying s26 step 2 atm...

Hi, I had the same problem with my middle child (who is now almost 13). I couldn't nurse anymore due to being pregnant again. He wouldn't take any formula not to mention a bottle. We ended up buying those Rubbermaid juice box containers. They have a flip up straw and you can squeeze the bottle to let him get a taste. Somehow he managed to learn how to suck from the straw. We fed him chocolate (of all flavors) pedi-sure to get him to his 1st birthday. He is a chocoholic as of today. I hope this helps.

Have you tryed the tomee tippee closer to nature bottles, they worked for my boy who refused any other bottle. It may not work for your bubba but its worth a shot if you havent tryed it already.
