This is probably the most delicate of subjects for me as a mother...and I have no idea how to approach it.
My son will be 3 at the end of August and lately Im having a hard time getting him to leave his "bits" alone...every chance he gets he's down "there" and can get rather aggressive...
I know it's absolutely normal for children to become curious and explore their bodies however I'm just a little worried that my son is a bit excessive in that area.
It happens in front of friends and family and I'm worried it may happen at kindy aswell, it's gotten to the point where he is hiding away from me to do it and it's getting in the way of toilet training.
I don't want to send him the message that it's wrong or bad and what he is doing is naughty...but how do I let him know that there is a time and a place and perhaps there is such a thing as "too much" for a little boy of his age???
He doesn't have a very big vocabulary, although he understands everything I say to him but I find that creates a communication barrier for us.
Help!!
