My 6 week old son has a mild rash on one testicle. It is faint and doesn't bother him. Should I be worried?

Sometimes babies get a rash on or around the scrotum , I have 3 boys and what always worked for me was some desitin, granted it is a little hard to clean between diapers since the cream is thick but it clears up within days and it won't come back when used properly. Works better than the prescribed creams you get from the pediatrician , I should know I am a medical assistant at a family practice.

you can also try too put babypowder cornstarch on him before you put a clean diaper on it helps keep the moisture away.

try giving him some naked bum time and see if that helps and make sure the area is clean since sometimes their poop can get stuck in the scrotum wrinkles and cause irritation ( it doesn't take much) hope it clears up quickly
