can any1 tell me what is the main symptoms 4 celiac?

My mother in law and her sister both have celiac. The have many different symptoms that are not alike. The dr said there are many different strains of celiac that can cause someone to be more allergic then others.

hi lisa he has a rash on stomach always has done but that did go after a few weeks of being free from all foods as i stated earlier after talkin 2 a dietican on the phne she told me 2 take him bk off all foods and c how it goes myself and the h v both decided that this wasnt fair untill hes actually been tested and diagnosed 4 sumthing which is goin 2 take about 8 weeks 2 get his first appointment wot a joke!!! he was sick yest and that was after eating whole grain pasta shapes apart from that he hasnt been sick 4 about 2 months!! x

Hi, I have 3 children that are all either celiac or gluten intolerant.  when we took them off wheat and dairy we had to wait as long as a month before there was any physical changes.  We suffered from the symptoms you are talking about as well as throwing up.  Once we took them off of everything the throwing up stopped within a week, but the stomache aches and took longer to get control of, and one of my sons has the sick rash and it takes months to get rid of.  hope this helps.

thank u jennifer very helpfull he was on a gluten wheat and milk 3 diet but they put him bk on it i spoke 2 my health visitor who also agrees its more stomach issues the past veiw days i have been givein him very plain food and he seems 2 b alot more settled  i suffer with ulcerative colitus and seem 2 suffer at similar times as him thank u xx
