It is an amazing transformation to watch. Killian's hadn't gained weight or grown between his 12 month and 18 month check ups. Then after diagnosis, his feet went up 2 sizes in one weekend and he almost doubled in weight in one year! Killian had that diaper rash and constant pooping too. I used to get so upset having to hold him down while I changed his diaper cause he was screaming so much. Thank god those days are behind us.

So it is Emme that has celiac. I was talking to Adam today, and he guessed it was Emme. I wasn't sure.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys on the 19th

Emme used to just sit a watch everything. She had a sad look in her eyes, horrible diahrea and a diaper rash that looked like a red welt. It was horrible to see her scream when she peed and pooped. Now she runs non stop, her vocabulary has grown to sentences in less than a month. Before she said maybe 5 words and slept all day. She had a popped out belly too. It truly is amazing to see her now. She has a whole new lease on life :) I also have no more headaches, dry cracking skin/psorais is getting better and no more stinky gas...lol

When Killian was sick, we thought he was a calm quite child. Once he went GF, we didn't know what hit us. He was literally bouncing off the walls. Now he never stops. Constantly climbing and running. Can't complain though, it's better than the alternative.

I have a 17th month old with Celiac & a 3 year old. I am getting tested Monday to see if I have Celiac since I do have IBS and now I think Emme (17 mo) got it from me 7 my mom who also has IBS. Ava (oldest) and Hubby are also eating Gluten free since it is easier to keep a Gluten AFree home. I may just bring the whole family and do dinner early if possible. My kids are wild since being Gluten Free and usually go to bed at 9 pm vs 7:30 8 pm before Celiac. I will let you know what time I make a reservation for :)

One of my kids (DS) has celiac - but we are getting out without kids that night :)) It doesn't happen too often, but he is only 2 (almost 3) , and it would be way too late for him. We have a group of 9 of us going though, so it should be a great night.I will probably order some food for him to take home with us. Doesn't mean we can't meet though. Do your kids have celiac? Where do you live?

I didn't know the name until today when they processed my credit card. lol I did notice the tapioca bread was like $1 more, but everything else I bought was cheaper. I am excited to try Pasta Pomordoro!! I am SOOOOO there on the 19TH Water to go is sooo nice cause they do have sooooooo much stuff than Wegmans, online ect. Orla do you have kids with Celiac? maybe we can meet with the kids for dinner on the 19th

The store is called "Water to go" and is located at 3501 Haddonfield Road. Phone number is 856-910-8881. The do have a great supply, and you can also sign up for a mailing list where they will e-mail you when new products arrive. However, beware, not all of their products are cheaper. I have found several items that cost significantly more than at Wegmans.

Pasta Pomodoro in Voorhees is AWESOME. Make sure you try the garlic bread. FYI -The NFCA are having a fundraiser there on January 19th where a portion of your check goes to celiac awareness. If you are interested, make a reservation but make sure you tell them you are going for the Celiac event.
