Hi!!! I have a 6 year old who was diagnosed a couple of years ago. We live in Spain and we travel with the kids often. We went to Euro Disney in April and they had these disgusting special menus for all alergies (gluten free, nuts free, salt free, lactose free, etc all in one) and my son hated them.

We will be going to Disney World for the Holidays and I was wondering if any of you has tips on where and what to eat in the park so that we can be safer.

Great to hear!! Do you know if the Disney Cruises would be the same? Will have to do some checking into that... Would like to plan a trip next winter to Disney World or a Disney Cruise. Haven't quite decided yet, but knowing that sure helps!

We went to Disney a few years ago and still remember it as the best vacation we had ever had. They were so accommodating with the GF diet. The food was really tasty and every restaurant we went to was happy to help!

We just booked out trip for April.  I am so excited.  I consider it a bigger vacation for me b/c for 8 days I don't have to cook or worry about what my dd is going to eat.  I'm sure she will actually put on weight there.  She keeps saying she wants to go the place that made GF pancakes.  I finally reminded her today that they did that every place we went! Yeah, Disney!!!!

Disney is great. Any restaurant on DIsney property you can go in and ask to speak to the chef and they will ensure you get a great tasting gluten free meal.

Ana,

I think you will find Disney World alot different. When we went, the GF accomodations and food menus were incredible. If you email Disney, they will send you out information on allergies and where you can get GF food anywhere in the park.
