Reconstructive surgery

My son is almost 12 months old. When he was born he had bilateral club feet. He was in the casts 6 weeks and then started wearing the shoes. When he was 3 months old he was able to get out of shoes and had surgery on both ankles where they cut the tendons in both ankles. He is still wearing the shoes and his right foot looks perfectly normal, the left one not so much. His doctor said if he is not walking by March that he will have to have reconstructive surgery where they have to cut from his ankle to the middle of his foot. I was wondering if anyone else's child has had this surgery. Any input would be great!!

Thanks!

I woul definitely look at the ponsetti method. Are you wearing the shoes at might for 12 hours? My son has had it all done so I am very familiar with this. Good luck! I haven't heard of the surgery you are reffering to with the poinsettia method which has a high success rate.
