I know sometimes it's hard to deal sometimes with the constant physio appointments and doctor's visits we have to deal with. Travelling to other Cities, Provinces or States just to see the doctor who specializes in the birth injuries that our children deal with on a daily basis. Watching and worrying as our children grow up and wondering if the other children are going to be mean to them in school or if they fall how bad they are going to get hurt. But the truth is that all parents go through that. Even ones who don't have children with birth injuries. I would Love to hear how you parents are being happy about your children so far what they have accomplished and how proud of them you are.
My little fella is now 2 years old. it has been almost 2 years since his nerve graphing surgery at Toronto Sick Children's Hospital in Ontario. Doing my best to try and get him to put his weight on his left arm (affected arm). When just a couple weeks ago he started crawling with his arm. On all 4s. Having people look at me like i have two heads because common he's two why are you happy about this?? But the reason I am happy about this is because. It's big!! Its something he didn't do and couldn't do before and he did it. No questions asked.... feel free to share your story.
