Hi Lesley! My husband passed away almost 3 yrs ago because of alcholism. He did try very hard to overcome the disease, but he was not strong enough. My girls were 18 and 11 at the time. We love and miss him very much but also realize that the turmoil that is caused by addiction is out of our lives. We can now move forward and I hope you will too. The best thing we can do for our children is to teach them about addiction.

Single mom of one in michigan.. Finding it sad and disturbing as to how many people are affected by an addict.. The father of my daughter passed 2 months ago and I'm dealing the best I can but just yesterday my best friends husband and father of her 2 lil ones passed too. I don't understand any of this but all I can do is make the best life for my 2 y/o and pray there will someday be a man in her life that will love her as his own.
