Hi,
My son Nat has fibular Hemimelia right side. He is missing his second toe the next two toes are co-joined. He has no ankle and except for the the toe rays all of his right foot bones are just a clump of bone. He has had his leg stretched 6cm and his foot straightened with a ilizarov fixator. He had to have his foot re-straightened which has since turned the other way. He had a growth spurt and lost 4cm of length and he will have pins put on his growth plates in his left leg to slow it down, letting the right leg catch up.
He also has learning problems and had a heart murmur, has a lazy eye, long vision and needs work down on his teeth. He has above average intelligence and is a 14yr old adult (so he thinks)
