I believe everybody is different. Some peoples differences are on the outside and easier to see then the differences others have on the inside. But EVERYBODY has got something and God doesn't give challenges to those who can't handle them. And in what ever your challenge, is a blessing worth celebrating.

If you've seen the movie "Finding Nemo" then you know all about Nemo's "lucky fin" and how being made a little differently doesn't stop him from accomplishing anything he sets out to do. I began making bracelets in July of 2010 in celebration of my daughter Ryan as well as all the other children out there with Symbrachydactyly or a limb difference. Over 400 bracelets have been sent all over the world and the Lucky Fin love continues to spread.

I invite you to join the Lucky Fin Family!

Hello....My daughter is now 2 and she was born with a limb difference...missing her rt arm from elbow down...sure there is a more technical term that is used but just recently started reading up on limb differences...lol.

We were told about Lucky Fin Project by a friend who has a grand daughter with a limb difference and have been really enjoying reading the posts on FB.

My son is 5 1/2 and is just now really starting to ask questions...like "how is she going to hold a baby" Anyway...it got me really thinking I need to get ALL of us in a group so we all can be around others in the same situation...

I have researched the area....Lubbock Tx...looking for a local group and awaiting a call back ;-)

I think it is soo wonderful to read others experiences and am almost done reading Tony Memmels story his mom wrote "Five Fingers, Ten Toes". Very greatful for all of you out there!!!!

We are planning on getting some lucky fin bracelets...My daughter LOVES wearing bracelets on her little arm..he he.

Thanks for all you do!

I love your Lucky Fin Project and website! Have you thought of selling some to make money for kids who have lost limbs in the Haiti earthquake? Jenn Reeves from the "Born Just Right" blog collects and donates prosthsesis. She would be an awesome contact for you. I think I saw her on your friends list.
