yeah its crazy my little half Asian is now 11 months old..and everyone was right..NEVER KNOW! he has blonde hair and blue eyes...go figure! it is crazy he has slightly asian eyes...he is going to be a heartbreaker!

See I had a hard time with my daughter because I am Cambodian and My Fiance is White. I am dark skinned and my daughter is light skinned like her father. I got lots of weird looks when I was in Florida because I look like I stole a white baby girl... I had a few people asked me if my daughter was really mine and they kept asking me repeatedly until I point out my fiance and they look like they had a sigh of relief.. so anyways.. I really dont think you should even have to explain anything to anyone... for me it was pretty frustrating.. but I LOVE LOVE LOVE HER SKIN COLOR and wouldn't change a single hair on her head....

Well I can cope with you on that. My oldest is white and my youngest three are biracial. So I get those stares and comments all the time when we are all out together. but you know what it doesn't matter what other people think. The baby could come out looking just like you and the other child more than your spouse.. But I would not let what other people think or say bother or worry you. And congrads on the new baby..

Hi Lindsey - first, congrats! Second, who cares? If people ask, you can just tell them whatever you want! And third, Kelsey's right, you never know - your child could go either way - or many ways! I have had people tell me that my son is 1) black 2) asian 3) indian 4) middle eastern and 5) my MIL told me that there was a Mexican woman in church who told HER that my son was Mexican and that she "knew her people." So, that's that.

You never know.. I am white and my boyfriend/ baby's father is full Filipino and some people have not even noticed my son was mixed. They just thought he was a dark headed white boy. I have also seen 1/2 black children look completely white. My friend has a 1/2 black little girl and she has light skin with blonde hair and blue eyes. She kind of has the same facial features as her father but she has nothing about her that would convince someone she is mixed.
