Hi my name is Rebecca Cash please feel free to add me to ur fb as i too have a 4yr old boy who was diagosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 30 mths old. I to don't know anyone else who has a child with diabetes and feel its a lonely place!!!

Thanx for your kind words i do keep intouch with my diabetic nurse and go to all clinics and they r brillant as they organise under 5's get together at the wakey which has been really useful.

You're definitely not alone. It is an epidemic. Last week, our Joslin Center diagnosed 8 kids in one week. I don't know if it will help, but the more people that I tell about JD, the more people are educated and understanding about it. Hang in there!
