hello everyone, we are in manchester england uk. Jacob Peter is 2 yrs 6m and was diagnosed last week, luckily i knew that he was presenting symptoms of diabetes so after 3 weeks i took him to see the gp who did a blood test and sent us straight to a&e! because i had role played it in my mind i wasn't totally shocked when they diagnosed him but i think my husband was pretty shocked! no other family members have it so steep learning curve for us!

Hi Christina! I just found this group. My name is Christina I live in Missoula, Montana. My son name is Owen he was dx'd in Aug 2009 after his 5th birthday. He loves to play nintendo star wars games and swim. He is in Kindergarten. He does not have any friends here to play with that have diabetes.
