I am 19 weeks pregnant with our second child....a boy! We just found out that he will be born in June with double bilateral clubbed feet! We are still attempting to process but wonder what insight can be gives as far as clothing and cast protection and dealing with summertime castings and keeping him cool! We will be living in VA Beach by them and the summers can be brutal! All the help and insight is so very appreciated!

well at least for sleeper, make sure they have snaps in the leg and crouch area and with out feet so he will be able to use them with his casts and bar. onesies are your best bet for during the day especially during the summer. we live in Tx so it was really hot. dont buy a sling or any type of carrier that we could find they are useless. as for cast protection, they are going to get dirty and pretty nasty especially when he is newborn. they get changed so often that i wouldnt worry so much about them. sponge baths are you friend so you dont get the casts wet. hope it helps a little.
