What are good baby foods to give to a baby with severe acid reflux?

No citrus fruits (apples, strawberries, etc), no tomatoes or spicy foods, no veggies like corn, no cheese or dairy. I would look in websites like webmd or American association of pediatrics to find a list of foods, the list of things that exasperate reflux are numerous. Pears, bananas, avocados, and other mild foods should be ok. With my son, I looked up each type of food before I gave it to him, to make sure it wasn't acidic. Unfortunately, a lot of great 'first foods' like applesauce should not be given to an infant with reflux. There are still some good choices out there.

the best thing to do is to try one new food a week and keep a food diary to notice any reactions your child has to that food. Our son did not do well with carrots or sweet potatoes--he had severe vomiting and would wake up at night. Every child is different, so just be cautious when starting new foods.
