28 yr. old son taking pills
My 23 year old daughter is an addict. How to deal with it??? 1st: you have to say "my child is and addict ". 2nd, you have to say "I will not enable by child". 3rd: you have to NOT enable you child in any way, i.e. no money for ANYTHING, no place to live.
You need to get yourself to a support meeting.
I suggest Al Anon, Overcomers Anon., Celebrate Recovery, etc. Google and use your zip code or call the larger churches in your area or use their websites, MOST will be hosting some sort of recovery group. Here is where you will find support for YOURSELF.

I happen to have a 33 year old that I have been battling for years about his drug abuse. Tell me what you are up against and I'll see if maybe I can tell you some of the things that have worked, even if with my child, it was only for a year or so.
