Facial Tics

My 6 year old daughter has had a diagnosis of benign occipital epilepsy for 8 months. she has been on generic Trileptal for all this time. This has controlled the seizure activity. She has just started having facial tics. She grimaces and pulls her mouth back, this occurs numerous times over the evening. Does anyone have any experience with this?

sounds like some breakthrough seizure activity, maybe her meds need increased. my daughter has epilepsy she is 10 we have went throught several medsbefore we found the correct combo.
